For the company which operates Hilton Hotels in the United States see: Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Hilton Group plc is a British based hotel and leisure company. It is based in Watford in Hertfordshire, just outside Greater London, and it is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. It is one of the largest companies in its sector in the world, with annual turnover of over 21.7 billion U.S dollars in 2004 at the average exchange rate for the year.

Hilton Group is named after the Hilton Hotel brand, although this is not its largest business. It operates Hilton hotels throughout the world, except for the United States. It has a joint marketing arrangement with the U.S. based Hilton Hotels Corporation, which operates the Hiltons in the United States. The two companies jointly operate the Conrad luxury hotel brand, which is named after Conrad Hilton. Hilton Group also owns the mid-market Scandic hotel brand. In addition there is a relatively small timeshare business.

Before it switched to its current name the group was named after its betting and gaming division Ladbrokes. Ladbrokes owns over 2,000 retail betting shops across the UK, Ireland and Belgium and operates several online betting websites which are available around the world. It is the largest gambling company in the UK, and also owns the football pools company Vernons.

Hilton Group's LivingWell Health Clubs division operates health and fitness clubs in the group's hotels. It also includes a chain of standalone clubs, which is mainly in the UK, but has a small number of branches in other countries.

Hilton Group's turnover for the year ended 31 December 2004 was 11,893.4 million. Profit before tax was 311.3 million and net profit was 260.8 million.
