Riviera Trains is a railway spot-hire company, based at Crewe in Cheshire. It owns a small fleet of Class 47 locomotives, were are hired to both passenger and charter train operators. One of their main customers is Arriva Trains Wales, which hires locomotives to haul Manchester to Holyhead services. The fleet is also used to haul "Foot-ex" specials from the North-West to Cardiff, to transport football and rugby fans to the Millennium Stadium.
Locomotive livery is Oxford Blue, although most of the fleet still carry the livery of their previous operators.
