Polski Telefonia Cyfrowa Sp. z o.o. (or PTC) is Poland's largest mobile phone network operator.
The company operates the Era GSM network, which is within the same GSM network as other European Union member states.
Era is one of Poland's most recognisable domestic brand names, partly because the company has pursued an aggressive advertising campaign that makes Era GSM billboards, sponsored events, and other commercials ubiquitous in Poland.
At the end of 2004, Era GSM had over 8.6 million customers and was the leading mobile phone network operator in Central Europe.
