Preface

Wikicompany is a free-content, worldwide, business directory in Wiki form, that anyone can edit.

Editing articles on Wikicompany, or any other MediaWiki-powered website may seem a bit strange at the beginning, but this MediaWiki syntax page will hopefully you get started quickly.

Remember to be Be Bold when editing! You can test your wiki editing skills on the Sandbox page.

Adding a new company profile

First, use the search function, to make sure the company isn't already listed on Wikicompany. On the mainpage: fill in the "Publish" textfield, then click on the new company profile button. You can now start editing the article using Wiki syntax When you're satisfied with the article, hit the Save page button.
