D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd. is a Scottish publishing company.
The company produces more than 200 million comic books, magazines, and newspapers every year from offices in Dundee, Glasgow, Manchester and London.

[edit]
History
The company was established by David Couper Thomson in 1905.
The company is notable for its conservatism. Indeed, Thomson vigorously opposed the introduction of trade unions into his work-force and he denied employment to people of the Roman Catholic faith.
