From Wikicompany

Introduction

To promote the continued development and maintenance of the software and content on Wikicompany there will be a need for some income.

The company profile service will ofcourse remain gratis, the articles freely licensed and downloadable etc., but there needs to be a way to allow at least one person to dedicate enough time and effort to this project to make it work well and make it work better than all the other business directories out there.

The Wikicompany project is already looking interesting, but it can be so much better. The goal is still to have an up-to-date, free global business directory which offers a service which is as good as possible.
