General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) is the financial services arm of General Motors, the world's largest automobile manufacturer (by revenue).

GMAC's primary activity is to extend credit to the purchasers of GM vehicles.

Its other businesses have included real estate. On July 27, 1998, GMAC purchased Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate from Meredith Corporation, the owner of the "Better Homes and Gardens" trademark. GMAC conducted the acquisition through a subsidiary, "GMAC Home Services, Inc." GMAC licensed the "Better Homes" trademark for a time, and has continued the franchised real estate business under the name "GMAC Real Estate".
