Clifford Chance LLP is an international law firm with its principal office at Canary Wharf in London.
The firm currently has about 30 offices in nearly 20 countries, and is a New York state registered limited liability partnership.
Clifford Chance is considered one of England's "Magic Circle" firms, sometimes referred to as the "Ivy League of British Law", due to its prominence in international law. Several publications have validated its leadership internationally, leading the firm to bill itself as the world's leading international law firm.

History
In 2000 Clifford Chance merged with with US firm Rogers & Wells and Germany's Pünder Volhard Weber & Axster.
In 2004 it was the largest law firm in the world by revenue [1].
