- Human biorhythms:
- "DMT provides regular, repeated, and reliable access to "other" channels. The other planes of existence are always there. In fact, they are right here, transmitting all the time! But we cannot perceive them because we are not designed to do so; our hard-wiring keeps us tuned in to 'Channel Normal'. It takes only a second or two—the few heartbeats the spirit molecule requires to make its way to the brain—to change the channel, to open our mind to these other planes of existence" -DMT: the spirit molecule p. 315-316
- To research: The primal eye functions for sending and receiving information, encoded in 'languages of awareness', between beings. The internal and external EM wave pattern communication is probably overseen by the primal eye. This pre-verbal communication form can be subconsciously or consciously (partially) intercepted and interpreted by the primal eye of another being.
- "When "fired up" by means of "Kundalini activation" the pineal gland stargate technology is accessed. "Kundalini activation" is the balancing of all of the chakra energy centers within the human body that will ultimately allow for pineal gland technology activation. This activation is felt as a ringing, buzzing or pressure inside of the head. During this process a series of complex electromagnetic intersecting rings of energy spin around the water within the pineal gland which causes the pineal gland to "gate over" into time/space where your access to linear time can be directed to some degree by your conscious focus." [1]
- "Either of these invisible levels of existence, parallel universes or dark matter, are present at the same time as this reality. Thus, they both are options we must consider for where DMT takes us when our consciousness is no longer in this plane of experience. The immediacy of the transition makes appealing these two alternate viewpoints regarding the incredibly unusual places our volunteers describe. This is because they are as much here as there. So the question about "inside" versus "outside," as many volunteers posed it, really no longer has any meaning. - DMT: the spirit molecule p. 319-320
- "Fractality is IMO a topic that is going to revolutionize many scientific fields and other culture expressions, since it is natures data and process structure. When I do Qicong (especially with entheogens) and turn my closed eyes and my primal eye (pineal gland) towards the Sun, and tune/focus my awareness onto this red/orange vortex of light fractals, I 'feel' a barrage of 'information' coming in. In fact so much, that it quickly becomes too intense for me. Qicong techniques are really methods to create an optimal human antenna. I've already confirmed this for myself, even though I'm just a beginner at this. Perhaps the fundamental vibrations of the EM ropes of our first Sun, connect us into the "cosmic internet" far beyond even our own galaxy. The power of the Sun ultimately comes from something at the core of it all. It seems our bioplasma fields are in continuous communion with these vibrations (at various intensities), but it is our 'choice' what to do with this energy and information. I have personally experienced most of my own deeper trances with clear skies (night and day). It seems to me there is some kind of fractal language encoded into these ropes. Perhaps the cosmic language of awareness, and too complex for our minds too comprehend in a rational fashion. Perhaps every being takes from it what it can use, and build from that a new tune, which others can use. From cosmic love to photosynthesis, to art, to individual love and all the way back again. Something fast-paced has been going on for the last 500 years and accelerating, thats for sure." - Anon.
- Pim van Lommel's "non-local Quantum-mechanical" views:
- About the non-local space and consciousness: "...the non-local space is more then a mathematical description; it is also a metaphysical space in which consciousness has influence because it has phenomenal properties. Phenomenal means resigned on subjective perception. In this interpretation it is hypothesized that consciousness is the primal presence of reality in the universe and therefore all matter holds subjective properties or consciousness. In this philosophy consciousness has a non-local character and therefore functions as the origin or basis of everything. All matter, or the "physical world", is formed by conciousness. The separation between the non-local space and consciousness is no more." (This interpretation is based on the research of John von Neumann, Eugene Wigner, Brain David Josephson, John Archibald Wheeler and Henry Stapp) - Eindeloos bewustzijn, p. 227-228 (translated by Q)
- Pim van Lommel defines what is experienced during a near-death experience and DMT experience as non-local consciousness. This consciousness is different from the waking conciousness we experience during waking awareness in every day life. The big dilemma lies in the interface or connection between waking or non-local consciousness:
- "Quantum physics are in my opinion not able to explain the emerging of consciousness, but however non-local consciousness shows many similarities with Quantum-physical concepts. Quantum physics could help explain the interface between ordinary waking consciousness and non-local or endless consciousness. A first contribution is the earlier explained (Non-local entanglement of consciousness scientifically proven, Eindeloos bewustzijn p. 249) entanglement in biological and macroscopic systems. Proven by the instant information-transference between the brains of two test person, whom had a safe distant between them, resulting in identical patterns in the EEG and fMRI tests." - Eindeloos bewustzijn, p. 250-251 (translated by Q)

- "The near-death experiences have occurred under a very wide range of circumstances, in every layer of society, in all populations, in all religions, in all cultures, and all-over history. Young people seems to have near-death experiences more often, the younger one is the higher are the chances of a near-death experience". - Eindeloos bewustzijn, p. 107 (translated by Q)
- There are many similarities between DMT experiences (DMT the spirit molecule by R. Strassman, see literature), Near-death experiences (Eindeloos bewustzijn by P. van Lommel, see literature), and the cycle of life as described in the Tibetan book of the dead. Study of both DMT experiences and near-death experiences suggests very strongly that we have to let go of the assumption that conciousness or mind springs from the body/brain. During life the mind and body complex works like a whole and there is no clear separation between the two. But this data suggests that the mind can make some sort of quantum leap which separates it from the body and enables it to be in, and experience a, very different or wider spectrum of reality which is often referred to as "realer then real" by the people who undergo these experiences. This is one of the great mystery's of the human cosmos and the information has encountered many critiques, probably because this data leads to the need for a total re-evaluation of the metaphysics of matter and being. Anyhow the near-death experience has been researched for the past century and, apart from a clear idea of what elements a near-death experience beholds, research in the probable causes of a near-death experience has bin unsatisfying. Some theory's (like the lack of oxygen or critical levels of carbon dioxide) may explain one or two elements of the near-death experience but they cannot explain the near-death experience as a whole at all. But the DMT experience can shed new light on the subject: -Q
- "In the case of great physical or mental stress, for instance during a car crash, a myocardial infarction or extreme pain, a huge amount of catecholamines are produced, which will result in a big increase in DMT secretion. During the dying process it is likely that the dying of cells in the pineal gland will also result in a great amount of DMT secretion. (...) The experience triggered by these psychoactive substances (indole entheogens), and especially the one triggered by DMT, show striking similarities with a NDE (near-death experience), although, depending on the dose, some confusing or terrifying experiences can occur. The following elements of a NDE are reported during experiences under influence of these substances:
- The feeling of separation from the body.
- Out-of-body experience
- Clear and fast thinking
- The encounter of a being of light
- The feeling of unconditional love
- Being in a non-world environment
- Encounter of 'deep' knowledge
- Non-verbal communication with extraterrestrial beings
- The long term transformation which are reported after a NDE, like the loss of fear for death, can also be reported after a LSD or DMT experience. It is a new and incinerating hypothesis that DMT, which is produced in the human body naturally, could play a important role in the expansion of conciousness during a NDE. DMT may dissolve the boundaries which prevent widening of conciousness during ordinary conciousness." - Eindeloos bewustzijn, p. 113-114 (translated by Q)
- Psychological explanation for a NDE has also been formulated, but (as with the physical explanations) this has not in the slightest notion brought real answers to the questions about NDE. This is because the psychological phenomenon used to explain the NDE leads to a degrading and under-appreciation of the NDE itself. Theory's like: NDE could be a hallucination or, NDE is a memory of the birth and even people make up a NDE to impress, all try to devalue the NDE for something less and do not take it seriously. Nevertheless it almost sure that NDE's also have a psychological cause. This is because some NDE's occurred even if there were no physical causes for this to happen: -Q
- "A psychological factor that could help the hypothesis of NDE is that NDE's don't always have a obvious physical cause, but rather occur in situations where fright for death is the case. A second subject for research that may clarify our view on NDE's is the similarities between NDE and (vivid) dreaming, and especially the role played by DMT in both these experiences. - Eindeloos bewustzijn, p. 125 (translated by Q)

Subconscious
- "The (self) conscious mind is the thinking ‘you,’ it is the creative mind that expresses free-will. Its supporting partner is the subconscious mind, a super computer loaded with a database of programmed behaviors. Some programs are derived from genetics—these are our instincts and they represent nature. But the vast majority of the subconscious programs are acquired through our developmental learning experiences, and they represent nurture. The subconscious mind is not a seat of reasoning or creative consciousness; it is strictly a stimulus-response device. When an environmental signal is perceived, the subconscious mind reflexively activates a previously stored behavioral response—no thinking required. The subconscious mind is a programmable autopilot that can navigate the vehicle without the observation or awareness of the pilot—the conscious mind. When the subconscious autopilot is controlling behavior, consciousness is free to dream into the future or review the past." [5]
- "By the time consciousness evolves to a functional state [around the age of 6], most of the fundamental perceptions about life have been programmed into the subconscious 'harddisk'. Consciousness can access this database and open up for review a formerly learned perception, such as a behavioral script. This would be the same as opening up a document from the hard drive on to the desk top. In consciousness, we have the ability review the script and edit the program as we see fit, just as we do with open documents on our computers. However, the editing process in no way changes the original perception which is still hardwired in the subconscious. No amount of yelling or cajoling by the consciousness can change the subconscious program. For some reason we think there is an entity in the subconscious that listens and responds to our thoughts. In reality the subconscious is a cold, emotionless database of stored programs. Its function is strictly concerned with reading environmental signals and engaging the hard wired behavior programs, no questions asked, no judgements made. Through sheer will power and intent, consciousness can attempt to over-ride a subconscious tape. Usually such efforts are met with varying degrees of resistance, since the cells are obligated to adhere to the subconscious program. In some cases the tensions between conscious will power and subconscious programs can result in serious neurological disorders." [6]

"When we as individuals try to get rid of the ego, it feels awful, like dying. i guess maybe it is like dying. death of all personal history and ambition - desire, fear, regret, nostalgia, personality. actual physical dying sends us into the void; dying to our ego while alive lights us up. we become conscious elements of the creature and it gets just a little bit stronger, more aware. the creatures has the chance to utilise our consciousness because we are no longer occupying that consciousness with our egoistic demands." - "Other experiences have led me to the conclusion that it is at the level of consciousness that we are "all one", yet obviously, as separate pieces of "all one", we represent different points of perspective, each a thread originating from the same place, yet weaving a unique path within the tapestry of the unfolding universe. This is how a particle can be in multiple places at the same time...consciousness, God, Great Spirit, whatever your way of describing the bigger picture is, exists in all places at the same time! In all times! At the same time! Even though I am consciousness in this body, so too am I the same consciousness in your body, at the same time. Our unique thread, our life story, simply gives us an alternative point of perspective that we have taken as an identity. But if you listen to us speak, much is revealed... All of us are "I"..." [8]
- "We as a race, as much as individuals, have to be spurred to change, grow, evolve. Without death driving it, consciousness itself is inert." [9]
- "Consciousness is a transcendental music with which we can attune, conduct and create. The spiritually synchronized mind instinctively discerns this. Consciousness flows through all things. It follows that consciousness itself does not originate in the brain of the individual. It is at root, a non-local force. The quantum and holographic traces of this have been unfolding for some time now, most intriguingly in the works of Jean Gebser, David Bohm ([10]), Pribram and Laszlo ([11]). The personal experience of consciousness is better conceived of as a tunnel, or an uplink, to the akashic field" ... "Consciousness operates in a field which is not bound by the restrictions of third density conditions (time & space). Consequently, it may seamlessly reach into higher dimensions/fractal resolutions and potentially innumerable parallel universes" ... "The primacy of felt experience is consistently more edifying and meaningful than the smug abstractions of ‘scientism’ (the belief that scientific principles are essential to all other disciplines, including philosophical, mystical, spiritual and humanist interpretations of life). The Control System sponsors scientism by overexposing various trenchant physicists, atheists and parapsychologists who all exhibit some form of spiritual devolution." [12]
- "Human consciousness has two poles [expansion and contraction] just like a magnet does. Self awareness can be focused on one of two poles that govern all of material reality. Souls evolve over time to favor one pole or the other. Long ago, souls favoring the entropic spiral of contraction, crafted a fear based awareness that was inserted into the human energy field at the negative pole of consciousness. This awareness is similar to an animal awareness in that it is purely reactionary in its actions. Its fear-based and is only concerned with its own survival at all costs. It has no self-reflective capabilities like normal self awareness does, but instead is only aware of its external existence. This is because self awareness itself is a form of expression of the positive pole (awareness of awareness)." [13]
- "[Expanding consciousness] explores the game of novelty because the creation of novelty expands the universe and allows for greater possibilities to unfold and a richer experience for everyone. One could say that we are all slaves to this universe and its inherent limitations, but the larger choice is in how we choose to interface with it all. Do we allow what is, to be what it is, and work with it and its natural potential, to forge ahead into the unknown vistas of new novelty? Or do we fight it all and try to control everything and gain power over all else? (which is at the heart of the negative pole of conscious awareness)." [14]
- "The universe we observe and inhabit is a secondary product of the energy sea that was there before there was anything there at all. Hindu and Chinese cosmologies have always maintained that the things and beings that exist in the world are a concretization or distillation of the basic energy of the cosmos, descending from its original source. The physical world is a reflection of energy vibrations from more subtle energy fields. Creation and all subsequent existence, is a progression downward and outward from the primordial source. In Indian philosophy the ultimate end of the physical world is a return to Akasha, its original subtle-energy womb. At the end of time as we know it, the almost infinitely varied things and forms of the manifest world dissolve into formlessness... In Akasha, all attributes of the manifest world merge into a state that is beyond attributes: the state of Brahman. Although it is undifferentiated, Brahman is dynamic and creative. From its ultimate 'being' comes the temporary 'becoming' of the manifest world, with its attributes, functions and relationships. The cycles of samsara [individual lifetimes] ... are the lila of Brahman: its play of ceaseless creation and dissolution. In Indian philosophy, absolute reality is the reality of Brahman. The manifest world enjoys but a derived, secondary reality and mistaking it for the real is the illusion of maya" - [15]
- "If you are not shaping your own reality, then someone else is doing it for you. The Control System serves up the default reality configuration for those who do not determine their own. There is no neutrality. Each individual has a prescribed belief system downloaded into their head via repeated containment encoding that emanates from parenting, schooling, sociological trends, organized religion and the mainstream media. The ultra-saturation of this mass hypnosis is so pervasive and well established that most people no longer wish to think for themselves, preferring instead to slip into the anaesthetizing pre-packaged reality they have grown to venerate. For those who have chosen a path of awakening, the study of esoteric knowledge and the transcendent journey itself automatically formulates a deprogramming procedure to remove Control System sludge from one’s personal world view. An enema for the mind. As the transparent absurdity of the old hierarchical systems is perceived, a dynamic gnosis of the sacred and sovereign nature of one’s own being starts to resonate new harmonic insights and deeper universal connections. All part of the natural progress of the soul. In stark contrast, for the other 7 billion sleepers on the planet, ever deeper and more elaborate unreality indoctrination is conjured upon them to constrain any sense of selfhood." ... "Containment encoding is a compound of disempowering and erroneous beliefs, specially combined to undermine the potential of the individual and promote hive mentality. Wide distribution and heavy repetition of associated memes is required to reinforce effectiveness. The primary containment encoding proposes false notions such as (i) death of the body means death of the conscious self, (ii) matter precedes consciousness, (iii) the universe is random, (iv) the divine is inaccessible, (v) religion is good, (vi) atheism is good, (vii) humans are bad." - "The idea the Eliade put forward in this book was that there was a distinction between religious and non-religious humanity on the basis of distinctly different understandings of history and of time. Eliade argued that the perception of time as a linear and unrepeatable track is a peculiarity of secular modern humanity. In contrast, archaic humanity ,or homo religiosus as Eliade put it, understood time as more complex than a single line of unrepeatable events. For them, time was divided between linear profane time and sacred time. The latter Eliade described as cyclical and in which all events could be reenacted—especially those of cosmic or creative significance. Through the acting out of myths and rituals, Eliade argued, ancient humanity found access to a “time out of time,” a timeless time, or a sacred time." [17]

- "In the folk psychology of many religious traditions the sleeping condition of the body is believed to enable the liberation of a spiritual essence within the individual, freeing it to journey in otherworldly realms and encounter nonhuman forces and intelligences. This inner spirit or soul varies in strength and mobility, and religions have devised various methods for cultivating its power so that people can fight off bad dreams and enhance good ones." - Dreaming in the World’s Religions: A Comparative History, p 271
- "Dement and Kleitman (1962) suggested that dreaming is exclusively associated with REM, but later experiments by Foulkes (1962) and others subsequently have found that dream recall is reported in around 74% of cases of subjects during NREM sleep, but only by using a crucially different concept of dreaming. Dement and Kleitman allowed only “coherent, fairly detailed” reports of dream consciousness, and disregarded dream-reports that were “without recall of content, or vague,” or were just “fragmentary impressions of content.” Foulkes allowed “reports with some substantive content”, including “any occurrences with visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic imagery.” Reports lacking such imagery, “but in which the subject either assumed another identity or felt that he was thinking in a physical setting other than that (laboratory) in which he actually was” were also classified as dreams." - The Primal Eye, p. 73-74
- “The most likely time for us to dream is also the time at which melatonin levels are highest, that is, around 3 A.M. Since melatonin itself has such mild psychological effects, it suggests a role for another pineal compound whose levels parallel those of melatonin. DMT is a likely prospect for such a substance. However, no one has looked at 24-hour DMT rhythms in normal volunteers in an attempt to relate DMT levels to dream intensity or frequency.” - DMT: the spirit molecule p. 73
- It is not sure which "types" of sleep consciousness possibly are accompanied with DMT secretion, nevertheless melatonin production will continue during the whole sleep, and apart from its own psychedelic effects its also a precursor for 5-MeO-DMT and eventually DMT.
- "Extremely high doses of melatonin (50 mg) dramatically increased REM sleep time and dream activity in both narcoleptics and those without narcolepsy. Many psychoactive drugs, such as cannabis and lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), increase melatonin synthesis." [18]
- "Lipnicki looked up daily geomagnetic activity in Perth, Australia – his home at the time. A scale called the k-index quantifies local geomagnetic activity, and he included only days that scored on the extremes of this index. This whittled his dream log down to 66 days of low geomagnetic activity and 70 days of high activity. Using these figures, Lipnicki uncovered a statistical correlation between dream bizarreness and geomagnetic activity, with freakier dreams occurring on days with the least geomagnetic activity." [19]

- DNA is an aperiodic crystal ["quasi-crystalline"] that traps and transports light-vortex-ropes with efficiency and emits photons (in other words electro-magnetic waves) at ultra-weak levels [see: Biophotons]" (...) "In the early 1980's ... a team of scientists demonstrated that the cells of all living beings emit photons at a rate up to approximately 100 units per second and per square centimeter of surface area. They showed that DNA was the source of this photo emission. I learned with astonishment that the wavelength at which DNA emits these photons corresponds exactly to the narrow band of visible light: "Its spectral distribution ranging at least from infrared (at about 900 nanometers) to ultraviolet (up to 200 nanometers)." (...) "DNA emits photons with such regularity that researchers compare the phenomenon to an "ultra-weak laser" (...) "A coherent source of light. like a laser, gives the sensation of bright colors, a luminescence, and an impression of holographic depth." (...) "Quartz is a crystal, which means it has an extremely regular arrangement of atoms that vibrate at a very stable frequency. These characteristics make it an excellent receptor and emitter of electromagnetic waves, which is why quartz is abundantly used in radios, watches, and most electronic technologies. Quartz crystals are also used in shamanism around the world." (...) "Amazonian shamans, in particular, consider that spirits can materialize and become visible in quartz crystal." (...) "DNA is also a crystal, as molecular biologist Maxim Kamenetskii explains: "The base pairs in it are arranged as in a crystal. This is however, a linear, one-dimensional crystal, with each base pair flanked by only two neighbors. The DNA crystal is aperiodic, since the sequence of base pairs is as irregular as the sequence of letters in a coherent printed text."" (...) "The four DNA bases are hexagonal (like quartz crystals), but they each have a slightly different shape." (...) "However, this is not the case for the repeat sequences that make up a full third of the genome, such as ACACACACACACACAC. In these sequences, DNA becomes a regular arrangement of atoms, a periodic crystal - which could by analogy with quartz, pick up as many photons as it emit. The variation in the length of the repeat sequences (some of which contain up to 300 bases) would help pick up different frequencies and could thereby constitute a possible and new function for a part of 'junk' DNA)" (...) "What if DNA, stimulated by nicotine or DMT, activates not only its emission of photons (which inundate our consciousness in the form of hallucinations), but also its capacity to pick up the photons emitted by the global network of DNA-based life? This would mean that the biosphere itself ... is the source of the images" - from the book "The Cosmic Serpent", Jeremy Narby, 1998 (edited)
- "The DNA in each cell has an interface-function. This enables the declaration of the continuity of our ever-changing body, because the exchange with the hereditary material out of the non-local space and with the non-local consciousness can come about via this way. - "The computer-expert Simon Berkovich assumes that 95% of the DNA with a unknown function, junk-DNA or intron, could play a role in identification-phenomena. Like the barcodes we encounter in every day life. In the case DNA the three billion base pairs give way to enormous possibilities to code information. Berkovich perceives one's individual DNA as one's individual access code to individual information, common information (of the species) and to morphogenetic (developing) information that is stored in the non-local space. Rosario N. Mantegna also describes the possible role that junk-DNA can play in biological information-transference. (...) The Quantum-physicist Erwin Shrödinger (1887-1961) already assumed in 1944 the possible nature of DNA as "un-statistical" macromolecule, and his theory stated that DNA may be a Quantum-antenna for non-local communication. Un-statistical (unpredictable, orderless) processes are quantum-mechanical processes that spring from the non-local space for living organisms. In contrary to statistical (predictable, regular) processes, that spring from the non-local space of death matter. According to Schrödinger DNA of a living organism could function as receive- or resonance- possibility to recieve and decode information from the non-local space. Peter Marcer thinks that non-local and holographic information-provision for a living organism is only possible through the DNA. All information is present and stored as probability-wave in the non-local space ad in this way non-local accessible and necessary for the complex organisation and evolution of living organisms. - Eindeloos bewustzijn, p. 266-267 (translated by Q)
- "We speculated that information stored in the neural-genetic material might be made available to consciousness through a modulated ESR absorption phenomenon, originating in superconducting charge-transfer complexes formed by intercalation of tryptamines and beta-carbolines into the genetic material.
- ESR in relation to tryptamines and beta-carbolines:
- "Charge-transfer allows us to transfer an electron from one substance to another without major loss in energy, since it does not require a rearrangement in molecular structure. By charge-transfer relatively inactive molecules may acquire a high reactivity. The donor, having developed a hole in its low-lying ground level, becomes a good acceptor, while the acceptor having acquired an electron on its high-lying excited orbital, becomes a good donor. A charge-transfer complex is something between a regular closed-shell molecule and a free radical, and the great reactivity of free radicals need not be emphasized. If the complex dissociates, as happens in extreme cases, two real free radicals are formed. An acceptor may accept an electron also from a saturated energy band, thus creating a hole and rendering the band conductant. Conversely, a donor may donate an electron to an empty energy band, rendering this bond conductant. So charge-transfer opens the way for semiconduction into biology. (Szent- Gyorgyi (1960) pp. 67-72)
- "Although serotonin is a somewhat stronger donor than indole, or some of its derivatives such as tryptamine, this extraordinary reactivity is characteristic for the indole formation in general and is in no way explained by the energy values of the highest filled molecular orbital. There seem to be other hitherto unknown molecular indices which entail this extraordinary reactivity. There is but one general statement we can safely make about all this, and this is that if Nature developed a substance for electron transfer, then she may have given to this substance extraordinary qualities, which make it likely that Nature developed this ring naturally for services of this kind. It was shown that indoles are exceptionally good donors, and a great number of biologically active substances contain an indole ring (serotonin, lysergic acid, bufotenin, indole acetic acid). Attempts were made earlier by Popov, Castellani-Oisi, and M. Craft to connect pharmacological activity, like convulsant effect, with electron donation. That indoles may actually act in their biological reactions as electron donors is further suggested by the fact that the OH group, induced into the serotonin molecule at position 5 equally increases pharmacological activity and the electron-donating property. Serotonin is one of the strongest donors I ever met, though the k of the highest filled orbital is but moderately lower than that of indole (0.461). So there are still unidentified molecular parameters which greatly influence donor acceptor properties. (Szent- Gyorgyi (1960) pp. 84-85, 108)
- ESR in relation to tryptamines and beta-carbolines:
- We reasoned that both neural DNA and neural RNA were involved in this process: Serotonin or, in the case of our experiment, exogenously introduced methylated tryptamines would preferentially bind to membrane RNA, opening the ionic shutter mechanism and, simultaneously, entering into superconductive charge transfer with its resulting modulated ESR signal; beta-carbolines could then pass through the membrane via the RNA-ionic channel and intercalate into the neural DNA.
- DNA and RNA in relation to tryptamines and beta-carbolines
- "Segments of helical RNA may be arranged perpendicular to the surface and running through it from side to side: Each segment will provide two helically wound half tubes connecting the interior of the cell with the exterior. The long RNA molecule would thus run a convoluted course through the membrane. The half tubes could be converted into full tubes or channels by running flexible molecules with right basic bonding groups (such as polyamines like spermine) between the phosphate groups on adjacent turns of the helix. Thus the RNA molecule will compose one potential large tube subdivided into two smaller tubes separated by a shutter that is, the hydrogen bonded base pairs. "If the base pairs were disrupted, the base pairs could fly apart and open up the full lumen of the tube." The maximum length of RNA required to cross an average membrane would be about two coils. The channel could also consist of an RNA shutter of shorter length leading to a protein channel. Now, as Hofmann and Ladik (1961) have shown, nucleic acids have certain very interesting properties in an electrical field. Normally they are insulators, but if they are located in an electrical field parallel to their own length and a powerful electron donor or acceptor intercalates at one end, the entire molecule can become a conductor by means of a migration of pi electrons in the electrical field. The resulting charge- transfer can polarize the base pairs and disrupt the hydrogen bonds joining them so that they come apart and the double helix unwinds. In our model the electrical field is provided by the resting potential of the neuronal membrane and the electron donor is 5HT. If this intercalates between the first base pairs on the outer end of the helical RNA, the helix could open up thus opening the internal shutter in the channel making it large enough to transmit hydrated Na+ or K+ ions depending on the length of the holding polyamine stays. The flow of ions will depolarize the membrane, the RNA again becomes an insulator and the base pair hydrogen bonds reform thus closing the channel. In the meantime the 5HT molecule will have been dislodged by the opening of the helix and will be taken up back into the axon terminal. The exact location of the serotonin pi cloud with respect to the pi cloud of the base pairs may be a crucial factor in this mechanism. However, a mechanism for closing the K+ pore is harder to visualize for here the membrane becomes hyperpolarized. This basic mechanism could be used for the transport of other molecules across membranes, such as the biogenic amines themselves." (Smythies 1969, pp. 267-269)
- "The nerve cells share a rare characteristic with a few other cells of the organism. They do not divide. Over the life-cycle, therefore, orderliness is not maintained by means of cell division. There will be an increasing danger of errors at synthesis in the cells, which means error in function. Evidence has been presented that neurons may renew their DNA without preparing for division (Pelc 1964). Future studies will have to elucidate what happens in aging neurons, since hybridization analyses have suggested that DNA from an old animal may not be identical with DNA from a young animal." (Hahn 1966)
- "...We have, therefore, as a first step, prepared brain DNA of varying degrees of purity. This DNA was injected into the ven- tricles of the brain of other animals of the same species. In one hour, protein synthesis was found to increase significantly. Biochemical analyses showed that the DNA had been incorporated in the recipient's brain cells in a polymerized state." (H. Hyden, in Koestler and Smythies 1969, p. 102)
- "The preceding evidence cited indicates that injected DNA can become incorporated and polymerized in brain cells; therefore, nucleotides must be able to cross the neural membrane and also the nuclear membrane. Conventional intracellular enzymes probably facilitate the crossing of the nuclear membrane, but a mechanism facilitating outer membrane passage is more difficult to imagine. It seems possible, however, that the RNA shutter mechanism could allow the transport of small molecules, such as neurotransmitters or nucleotides, across the postsynaptic membrane. Once these molecules have penetrated the postsynaptic membrane and entered the cytoplasm of the axon, they could be transported to the vicinity of the nucleus by the mechanism of axoplasmic flow. " -The Invisible Landscape, p.89-90
- "As noted in the discussion of bonding sites for indoles to nucleic acids, some compounds appear to bind better to DNA than to RNA. One such compound is harmine, and its affinity for DNA is not surprising in view of its previously mentioned similarity to proflavin. It is possible, therefore, that harmine or one of its analogs, such as 6-methoxytetrahydroharman, would exhibit a superior capability to bond to DNA if it were enabled to cross the membrane. ... It is also conceivable that the bonding of harmine or an analogous compound into DNA could form permanent bonds maintained by a form of superconductivity and, thus, function in the formation and maintenance of long-term memory. We have seen that compounds such as proflavin and presumably harmine have the effect of stabilizing the helix through strong pi-cloud overlap. Superconductivity could maintain such bonds indefinitely and thus ensure the longevity of long-term memory storage; it could also be involved as a mechanism for producing highly amplified ESRs from molecular substrates." -The Invisible Landscape, p, 91-92
- DNA and RNA in relation to tryptamines and beta-carbolines
- The DNA-harmine complex would possess an ESR modulated at frequencies that were harmonic overtones of the ESR absorption frequencies of the RNA-tryptamine complex. The frequencies of either complex could then be harmonically amplified or canceled by modulation of the other complex.
- To check our theories, we devised an experiment that was planned to trigger an intercalation of harmine into the genetic material that would sustain and stabilize its charge-transfer energy within a superconducting matrix. We reasoned that an infusion of ayahuasca plus tryptamine (mushroom) admixtures would allow us to do the following:
- (1) We would hear and vocally imitate the ESR modulation of the tryptamines as they intercalated with their RNA receptors.
- (2) The amplified tryptamine-RNA ESR would be a harmonic overtone of the harmine-DNA resonation frequency, and the vocal modulation of these frequencies would cancel the two waveforms, causing both complexes to simultaneously lose their electrical resistance and assume superconducting configuration.
- (3) The electrically canceled harmine compound, which had been locked into superconductive bond with the DNA, would then begin to broadcast its waveform hologramatic ESR configuration through the superconducting harmine-transducing circuit.
- This superconductively sustained and amplified resonation of the harmine-DNA macromolecule would excite the tryptamine-RNA complex into a sympathetic resonance frequency, causing it to act as a radio transmitter, which would broadcast the coded information of the harmine-DNA superconducting sustainer circuit. The modulated and superconductively sustained ESR of this macromolecule might eventually manifest itself as a standing waveform that would, in effect, be a waveform hologram of the entire resonating macromolecule. Such a molecule would be a superconductive holographic information storage system, containing all genetically and experientially coded information within its waveform pattern. It would respond to thought, which would be an interference pattern set up by resonating tryptamine-RNA complexes. Where the ESR set up in the cerebral tryptamine-RNA complex was in phase shift with the harmine-DNA matrix, a standing waveform would be created in three-dimensional space, which would be a hologram of an idea. Conceiving an idea would create a specific waveform pattern of tryptamine-RNA resonation; where this resonated sympathetically on the superconducting DNA-harmine macromolecule, that part of the molecular chain would be beheld holographically as a three- dimensional image. What is described can be considered a solid-state cybernetic circuit, macromolecular in size and sustained by superconductive charge transfer. As any other solid-state circuit, the material matrix would be static, and the kinetic electrical activity would be the mobile element. The components of such a system would have a fourfold arrangement. The superconductive harmine-DNA complex would function as a charge-transfer power source and holographic ESR readout mechanism for informational gestalten stored in the in vivo DNA. The superconducting tryptamine-RNA complex would function as a mentally triggered switch, governing the activation of the genetic readout mechanism and monitoring the input of modulated ESR frequencies from the environment. The total system would be a holo-cybernetic unit of superconductive genetic material in which the entirety of the DNA memory bank would be at the command of the harmine readout mechanism, activated via tryptamine harmonic interference. The tryptamine-RNA complex, besides activating the DNA-harmine readout mechanism, could function as an omnidirectional receiver for externally modulated ESR frequencies. If we imagine the harmine-DNA complex as a radio-cybernetic matrix, then we can suppose that this matrix stores information in a regressing hierarchy of interiorized reflections of itself, in a form similar to the familiar Chinese ivory balls carved one within another, each level free to rotate independently. In response to the vibration of tryptamine-RNA charge-transfer exchanges, modulated by mind into a usable signal, information searches of any sort might be conducted through a process that we suggest might be much like the principle of retrieval of information from volume holograms. Such a process of information retrieval and image projection would never lag behind human thought. Indeed, conscious thought may be precisely this process, but occurring on a more limited scale. This limitation of scale may arise out of the way in which serotonin (5HT) reflects the ESR of the genetic material into which this neurotransmitter is continually intercalating during normal metabolism. What we are suggesting on one level is that how conscious an organism is of the world that surrounds it may be fundamentally related to the charge-transfer capacity of the endogenous DNA and RNA intercalators that the organism has evolved. Serotonin may be one of many possible resonant transmitters of the informational hologram that is stored in DNA. Harmine, we suggest, may be another, and perhaps more efficient, transmitter. Harmine may be more efficient precisely because it bonds more readily to DNA than to RNA. The rise in levels of beta-carbolines seen in pineal glands as one ascends the primate phylogeny—with the highest levels occurring in Homo sapiens lends credence to the idea that the adaptation called consciousness may involve mutation of the metabolic pathways associated with serotonin, other tryptamines, and harmine. The shift of emphasis from serotonin pathways to beta-carboline and methylated tryptamine path- ways is, we speculate, the molecular evolutionary event that is responsible for the intimations of transfiguration that have recently characterized mass consciousness." -The Invisible Landscape, p.104-106
Astral experience
- "Recently I had a dream I was lying inside a pyramid getting pressurized but I woke when my ears popped with a clear revelation that they had been used as hyperbaric chambers. Here’s my hypothesis: Egyptians used pyramids to saturate their cerebrospinal fluid with Nitrogen. Nitrogen saturation combined with coherent spinal nerve entrainment led to lasing within the central canal and ventricles. The ability can persist beyond the initial pressurization. The Human lasers were used to help build better and better pyramids culminating in the Great Pyramid that included optics for laser communication with the star system Sirius and perhaps others. Important brain structures involved in modulating the beam include the Pineal Gland, the Corpus Callosum, the Frontal Lobes and others. The structures inside the pyramids used for changing the pressure could have been sliding stone pistons and/or flooding of lower chambers. I am sure the geometry of the structure plays an important role but lies outside this hypothesis for now." (...) "“The secret of the Golden Flower” is an old Chinese text that may have been influenced by the Nestorians. In that book are found many references to working with the Divine Light. Notably there is some mention of drawing back the light which sounds a lot like what I did to form my “cone of attention”. The Taoists also more popularly espouse drawing back the seminal fluid as an energetic exercise." [20]

- “In his work with naturally occurring alien encounters, John Mack refers to how often these experiences occur at times of personal crisis, trauma, and loss. Perhaps in these individuals, stress and pain overcome the pineal's ability to prevent excessive DMT release and trigger access to these unusual experiences. In addition, many abductees have a history of these encounters that dates back to childhood. Such individuals may possess especially active DMT-production capacities due to a biological hard-wiring predisposition, possibly combined with chronic or repeated overwhelming stress. We previously discussed how some of the tendencies for excessive DMT formation might manifest using specific enzymes or enzyme inhibitors. Mack also notes that many abductions from people's homes take place in the early morning hours. The pineal gland is most active at this time. Might early morning DMT production open the portals to alien encounters in these predisposed individuals?” - DMT: the spirit molecule p. 322

Trance observations
- "Trance - for a yogi or magician - is merely a tool consciously chosen and made efficient over years of consistent practice to produce specific psychic results. Trance - for most other people - is an subconscious choice made to relieve pain or to void uncomfortable feelings or situations." ... "The strength of the trance force depends on being able to create and to skilfully manipulate simultaneously two or more dissociated trance plains, to sustain them for long periods of time, to change their forms, and to modulate them. This must be done without the practitioners destroying his ego structure and creating psychotic delusions or addictions." quote from "Trance: From Magic to Technology" [21] by Dennis R. Wier (edited) (see also: [22])
- Todo: describe controlled/aware and uncontrolled/subconscious focusing
- "ALAN: What is trance in scientific terms? Dio: A trance is a special type of dissociated state. It is the usual way the mind does separate things at the same time, like driving a car and listening to the radio, for example. With deep trance there is more focus, more intensity. The separation into what appears to be another reality can be intensified. A trance is always created by limiting attention to a small area or range or circle (red: or a release/relaxation of the normal focus!). Usually when you do that, your thoughts repeat and then you get bored and space out. So trance is created by a looping or repetition of thoughts in a limited way. ALAN: That sounds as if trance is something quite ordinary? Dio: Trances are actually quite common and there is a range of intensity of trance from reading a book, daydreaming, watching television, to those intense deep rare mystical states of a channeler, a yogi, a magician or a witch. Drum beats, chanting, marching, making love, these always create trances. There are more complicated trances too, but the loop will always be found at the source of every trance, including meditation, hypnosis, addictions, certain kinds of schizophrenia and visionary or mystical states of consciousness." ... "Magic is also a technology and the basis of magic is trance. Trance is the result of repetition and ritual work. Knowing how to recognize and to work with trance is the difference between a magician and the entranced." ... "ALAN: What does it mean for a person to be in trance? Dio: One of the effects of trance is that the limiting of attention to a small focused area causes a disabling of some critical mental functions such as judgement, will power, awareness of the body, continuity of time, memory, etc. At the same time the ability to creatively fantasize or visualize can be enhanced. In deep trance a person can create vivid visualizations. When you learn how to trance skillfully and well, the trance state can free creative capacities and powerful trance forces." - Musical trance and entrancing:
- "Music directly represents the passions or states of the soul - gentleness, anger, courage, temperance. If one listens to the wrong kind of music he will become the wrong kind of person." - Aristotle
- "I believe that classical composers of the Western Musical tradition were elite Sound-Magicians. The most advanced technology of our times is used by the military to create weapons and war machines - music is not excluded. Composers like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Scriabin, and Schoenberg are studied by scholars at the university level. The mechanics of their music are charted and described through formulas. This was my experience in studying music theory at the university level. We learned how to analyze chords, common progressions, and specifically were made to replicate musical patterns in the style of J.S. Bach. However, the geometric principles were never explained in the books or by the professors. This seems to be one of the better kept secrets of the Music theory field. To summarize, the effect of certain melodies on the mind, body, and spirit is known and used by those who seek to manipulate the consciousness of the listeners. The similarity between the Beatles and Army melodies were immediately apparent - There is something in the contour (shape) of the melody which hooks the mind more effectively than others. What is it? Can it be understood?" [24]

- "It is well known that the brain is an electrochemical organ; researchers have speculated that a fully functioning brain can generate as much as 10 watts of electrical power. Other more conservative investigators calculate that if all 10 billion interconnected nerve cells discharged at one time that a single electrode placed on the human scalp would record something like five millionths to 50 millionths of a volt. If you had enough scalps hooked up you might be able to light a flashlight bulb." ... "Research has shown that although one brainwave state may predominate at any given time, depending on the activity level of the individual, the remaining three brain states are present in the mix of brainwaves at all times. In other words, while somebody is an aroused state and exhibiting a beta brainwave pattern, there also exists in that person's brain a component of alpha, theta and delta, even though these may be present only at the trace level. It has been my personal experience that knowledge of brainwave states enhances a person's ability to make use of the specialized characteristics of those states: these include being mentally productive across a wide range of activities, such as being intensely focused, relaxed, creative and in restful sleep. Epsilon state

- "The states of consciousness that appear to be associated with HyperGamma brainwave activity (at 100 Hz) and Lambda brainwave activity (at 200 Hz) seem to be described in exactly the same terms as we have been describing our discovery of Epsilon (below 0.5 Hz) over the years. It has seemed extraordinary that different groups of EEG researchers, independent of one another, should find the same states of consciousness associated with such divergent brainwave activity - below 0.5 Hz Delta to above 100 Hz HyperGamma to 200 Hz Lambda. There seems to be a circular link between these two extremes of brainwave activity and the states of consciousness which they represent. They appear to be associated with the type of extraordinary states of consciousness we find in the highest states of meditation, deepest levels of insight, personal original creative problem solving and high degrees of Self-awareness. We have surmised that these extremely slow Epsilon brainwave patterns might have extremely fast HyperGamma/Lambda brainwave patterns modulating within them - just as the Hyper-Gamma/Lambda brainwave patterns are "riding" on a super slow Epsilon modulation." - from "Epsilon, Gamma, HyperGamma, Lambda Brainwave Activity and Ecstatic States of Consciousness"

Theta state
- Theta: Light sleep or drowsiness 4-7 Hz.
- "Because of a historical accident, the term "theta rhythm" is used to refer to two different phenomena, "hippocampal theta" and "human cortical theta". Both of these are oscillatory EEG patterns, but they may have little in common beyond the name "theta"." ... "In human EEG studies, the term theta refers to frequency components in the 4–7 Hz range, regardless of their source. Cortical theta is observed frequently in young children. In older children and adults, it tends to appear during drowsy, meditative, or sleeping states, but not during the deepest stages of sleep. Several types of brain pathology can give rise to abnormally strong or persistent cortical theta waves." ... "Theta-frequency EEG activity is also manifested during some short term memory tasks. Studies suggest that they reflect the "on-line" state of the hippocampus; one of readiness to process incoming signals. Conversely, theta oscillations have been correlated to various voluntary behaviors (exploration, spatial navigation, etc.) and alert states (piloerection, etc.) in rats, suggesting that it may reflect the integration of sensory information with motor output (for review, see Bland & Oddie, 2001). A large body of evidence indicates that theta rhythm is likely involved in spatial learning and navigation. Theta rhythms are very strong in rodent hippocampi and entorhinal cortex during learning and memory retrieval, and are believed to be vital to the induction of long-term potentiation, a potential cellular mechanism of learning and memory." - Lucid dreaming (conscious dreaming)
- It can also be called "Theta-brainwave meditation"
- "Its a state bordering on normal sleep, but with waking awareness. It can be experienced by keeping the 'kernel' of awareness active, while at the same time letting the rest of the body fall asleep. Its a subtle body-awareness balancing act. How does Theta meditation compare to the use of entheogens? Having experienced both, I would say they are really complementary, perhaps even 'opposites' of each other. Theta meditation takes you completely into the imaginary realm ("dream world"), while the entheogenic experience primarily shows the manifested realm to its fullest intent. Both realms are within the field of consciousness, but in different energy-cycle ranges." - Walden

Theta meditation increases creativity, enhances learning, reduces stress and awakens intuition as well as other extrasensory perception skills. Theta consciousness allows us to connect with our creative inspirations, spiritual guidance and peak experiences. Through theta wave meditation, we can open our Third Eye and access the delta waves that unite us with Universal Energy and Cosmic Consciousness." [30]
- "Going deeper into relaxation, you enter the elusive and mysterious Theta state where brain activity slows almost to the point of sleep, but not quite. Theta is the brain state where magic happens in the crucible of your own neurological activity. Theta brings forward heightened receptivity, flashes of dreamlike imagery, inspiration, and your long-forgotten memories. Theta can bring you deep states of meditation. A sensation of "floating" and, because it is an expansive state, in Theta, you may feel your mind expand beyond the boundaries of your body. Theta rests directly on the threshold of your subconscious. In biofeedback, it is most commonly associated with the deepest levels of meditation. Theta also plays an important part in behavior modification programs and has been used in the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. Finally, Theta is an ideal state for super-learning, re-programming your mind, dream recall, and self-hypnosis. Theta waves range between 4-7 HZ. Theta is one of the more elusive and extraordinary realms we can explore. It is also known as the twilight state which we normally only experience fleetingly as we rise up out of the depths of delta upon waking, or drifting off to sleep. In Theta, we are in a waking dream, vivid imagery flashes before the mind's eye and we are receptive to information beyond our normal conscious awareness. Theta has also been identified as the gateway to learning and memory. Theta meditation increases creativity, enhances learning, reduces stress and awakens intuition and other extrasensory perception skills." [31]
- "In [Andreas] Lommel's discussions with the Aborigines, the men offered one reason for fewer spirit-child dreams: "Sleep must not be too heavy." The dreamer must remain alert and sensitive, even as the body rests. When a man dreams like that, the spirit-child's name enters his heart; then, it "goes into his head" and the man becomes "fully conscious" of it. In essence, the Aborigines attributed proper dreams to a duality of consciousness event, an alert mind and resting body -- comparable to conscious dreams as defined by yogis who pursue a meditative life-style. The Aborigines began to accumulate modern stress once they left the tranquil, silent life of the bush where they had practiced sacred ceremonies and had time to contemplate and meditate." [32]

Hypnotism is the study and use of suggestion with or without the presence of hypnosis, while hypnotherapy is a form of therapy in which the use of hypnotism constitutes the core of the treatment." ... "All hypnotic states are characterised by a tremendously pleasant state of relaxation, which individuals allow themselves to enter so that desired, beneficial suggestions may be given directly to the part of the mind known as the subconscious. Under hypnosis, the conscious, rational part of the brain is temporarily bypassed, making the subconscious part, which influences mental and physical functions, receptive to therapy. During the trance state there is heightened concentration for the specific purpose of maximising potential, changing limiting beliefs and behaviours and gaining insight and wisdom. Although hypnosis may be light, medium or deep, a medium trance is usually used during which metabolism, breathing and heartbeat slow and the brain produces alpha waves. Normal states of consciousness i.e. sleeping, dreaming, being awake, can be detected in the wave patterns produced by the brain. The state of hypnosis differs from all three. The brain waves associated with quiet, receptive states are called alpha waves. In alpha states, the body gradually relaxes. Hypnosis, meditation, day dreaming, being absorbed in a book or music or television, driving and arriving at your destination without recalling all the usual landmarks etc. are good examples of alpha states." - "The state most related to the conscious mind in the normal waking state where our focus is directed away from our inner self; associated with direct linear thinking and wide awake mental activity, high levels of focused concentration; continual existence in this state creates anxiety and stress." [39]
- "Beta wave is the term used to designate the frequency range of brain activity between 12 and 30 Hz. Beta states are the states associated with normal waking consciousness. Low amplitude beta waves with multiple and varying frequencies are often associated with active, busy, or anxious thinking and active concentration." ... "Beta waves are also split into three sections: High Beta Waves (19Hz+); Beta Waves (15-18Hz); and Low Beta Waves (12-15Hz)." [40]
- "Channel normal" (for many - perhaps most - people this means the consensus-trance state of awareness)
Gamma state
- Gamma state: Focused mental concentration, deep relaxation.
- "A gamma wave is a pattern of brain waves, with a frequency between 25 to 100 Hz, though 40 Hz is prototypical." [41]
- "Associated with combining information holographically for higher-levels of awareness; perception and consciousness of unity; has been call the “harmonizing” frequency allowing for unification of all different information." [42]
- "As you can see null sleep is actually Gamma Consciousness, a very high frequency consciousness that is actually tuned into Earth at the Her Core where the New Light is most concentrated. Therefore this pattern that many are experiencing has an important function in changing Cosmic Address. Yes, it can be annoying, but it is important. Since we have experienced this phenomena for several years now we can tell you with assurance that eventually you will sleep. The best advice we can give you is to not fret about it. You are relaxing in a high state of concentrated brain focus. There is physical benefit to this as well as spiritual benefit. Increasing the frequency of consciousness relies directly on attuning to the earth’s inner core. awakening and enlightenment occurs through interfacing and mirroring the frequency distributed through the earth’s core and attuning to the empty spaces throughout creation. Schumann Resonance 7.8 cycles per second is now being reported to be as high as 11 cycles per second in some parts of world. This is slowing earth’s rotation and decreasing the EM fields. This is causing an overall increase in time. Within five to seven years 24 hour day will be approximately 18 hours." [43]
- "These Gamma brainwaves resonate around 40 Hz and are associated with the brain function which holographically synthesizes all the bits of individual data from various areas of the brain and fuses them all together in a higher perspective." ... "It is thought the Gamma is the harmonizing frequency - for example when you are observing an object, its colour, size, texture etc are all perceived and processed by different parts of the brain, it is thought that Gamma allows for unification of all the different information." ... "This brainwave activity is associated with states of self awareness, higher levels of insight and information, psychic abilities and out of body experiences." ... "EEG researchers are noticing extremely high brainwave frequencies above Gamma, at up to 100 Hz. Totally opposite speed brainwave frequencies - some at 100 Hz and others at less than 0.5 Hz - have exactly the same states of consciousness associated with them. These high-range brain frequency states are named HyperGamma. Later information showed new evidence of frequencies even higher than this, at almost 200 Hz.named: Lambda brainwave frequencies and states of consciousness. These HyperGamma, Lambda and Epsilon frequencies, are linked together in a circular relationship -where if you looked with a magnifying glass at an extremely slow Epsilon brain frequency, you would see hidden within it a modulation frequency of 100 - 200 Hz. If you stand back far enough from an extremely fast 200 Hz brainwave frequency, you would see that is it riding on the crest of a slow motion modulating wave of Epsilon." ... "Gamma rhythms occur in humans and other mammals following sensory stimuli. They often occur in brief runs in these responses." [44]
